Wedgewood Visitor Centre

The Wedgewood visitor centre is at Barlaston, Stoke on Trent, just an easy 25 minute drive from Leek. At the Wedgewood visitor centre you can see craftsmen at work, using artisan techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation over the last 250 years.

It’s possible to take a guided tour of the Wedgewood visitor centre or, if you prefer, a self guided tour of the Wedgewood visitor centre. Guided tours of the Wedgewood visitor centre last approx. 1 hour.

A Wedgewood visitor centre tour will show you all aspects of ceramic production and you’ll also be able to see the Borghese Vase – the pinnacle of jasper craftsmanship and showpiece of the Wedgewood visitor centre.

The museum at the Wedgewood visitor centre is home to the Wedgewood collection, one of the most important ceramic collections in the world.

At the Wedgewood visitor centre there is also the opportunity to have a go on the potters wheel and someone from the Wedgewood visitor centre will be on hand to help you decorate your work. You too can create your own piece of history inspired from your experience of the Wedgewood visitor centre.
