The impressive period house was originally built for a local mill owner but spent most of its life as the convent to St Mary’s church situated directly behind. Feel the aura of peace and tranquillity as soon as you arrive… We like to think a result of all the prayers that were once said!
Take some time out from the responsibilities and temptations of everyday life and let our team look after you while you relax and unwind.
Each day you’ll be enjoying some fresh juices & homemade soup devised by our Nutritionist & prepared by our award winning chef. Eating light & fresh food allows you to give your digestive system a much needed rest & the nutrient packed food will make you feel energised & invigorated.
There’ll be a minimum of three hours exercise a day, tailored to suit you, which you can take or leave – if you just need to kick back and sleep, then that’s fine too. The Peak Weavers Wellness Retreat is all about YOU!
We have just six rooms so you’ll enjoy the family atmosphere & get plenty of our attention. Every day there’ll be cookery demonstrations, films, talks & plenty of one-to-one and group discussions to help you continue your wellness journey when you leave us.
Meet The Team
Rachell Hipkiss : Rachell is a registered Nutritionist with a degree in Nutritional Biochemistry & she’ll be on hand throughout your stay. With over 20 years experience in food & nutrition, Rachell can answer your questions, dispel some dietary myths & help you devise a healthy eating plan for life.
Emma Bettany : Emma is the Head Chef and partner at The Peak Weavers and will be preparing you delicious juices and soups throughout your stay
Nick Bettany : Nick has over 20 years experience in the hospitality trade & is also a partner at the Peak Weavers. Nick has an extensive knowledge of the local area and will be leading your walks – taking you to places that are sure to inspire.
Tracy Taylor : Tracy has been teaching in the Fitness industry since 1995 and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and passion with you. She’ll be helping you to attain your personal goals with fun and effective class sessions.
